Tokyo Disneyland in Japan kicked off the sixth Disney Pal-Palooza event, “Vanellope’s Sweets Pop World,” on April 8, 2026.
The event is themed on the candy world that Vanellope (from Disney’s “Wreck-It Ralph”) dreams up — and the park is overflowing with poppy, super-cute decorations as a result.
This guide walks you through all the event-exclusive photo spots and decorations at Disney Pal-Palooza “Vanellope’s Sweets Pop World.” There are so many cute spots that just looking at them puts you in a good mood.
“Vanellope’s Sweets Pop World” — Photo-Spot Map Overview
The event decorations stretch from the Tokyo Disneyland entrance, through World Bazaar, all the way to the plaza in front of Cinderella Castle. There are 10 main photo spots, plus 4 smaller event-themed details — 14 spots total.

From the entrance through World Bazaar, there are 6 photo spots. They’re laid out in a straight line, so they’re easy to find — and since most guests walk this route anyway, you’ll spot them naturally.

Past World Bazaar, around the Partners Statue at Plaza Terrace and on out toward Cinderella Castle, there are 8 spots in total — including the smaller details.
Compared to the Entrance–World Bazaar stretch, this area has the spots scattered around different locations. Treat it like a casual walk through the park and enjoy the hunt — it’s a fun way to take it in.
Each Photo Spot — What to Look For
Here’s a closer look at each photo spot.
① Mickey Flowerbed / Entrance

The flowerbed right inside the entrance is known as the “Mickey Flowerbed” — it’s the very first thing you see when entering the park. Normally it’s shaped like Mickey’s face, but for this event it’s been redesigned as a Mickey-shaped lollipop.
② Monument (Sour Bill) / Entrance

Just behind the Mickey Flowerbed is a brand-new monument introduced for this event. On the right is a candy-style sign with the event name. The detail to look out for is on the left: Sour Bill, half-buried in a candy tree — adorable.

③ Event Banner / Entrance

Every Tokyo Disneyland event has its signature banner — and this time it hangs over the “Tokyo Disneyland” sign at the entrance to World Bazaar. The standout detail this round is the giant icing-cookie Vanellope face right at the top center. The surrounding decorations are all candy-themed, and they’re seriously cute.
④ Monument (Vanellope & Ralph) / World Bazaar Center

Walk through World Bazaar and you’ll find a Vanellope monument right in the middle. It’s a giant parfait piled high with cookies, donuts, ice cream, marshmallows, and more — a perfect fit for the event.
At first glance, it looks like the same monument from 2025. But there are a few new details this year.
The first is a pink heart-shaped cookie on the back side that wasn’t there last time. It reads “You’re the Sweetest Champion,” which feels like the story has actually moved forward a year.
The biggest change, though: Ralph is hiding among the columns around the monument! He’s quietly watching over Vanellope — totally in character, and personally I love it.

⑤ Show Window / In Front of Mickey & Co. (World Bazaar)

There’s one more must-photograph spot in World Bazaar: the show window in front of Mickey & Co.
The event’s main illustration is recreated here in 3D — and it’s just as cute as you’d hope. Look closely and you’ll see Vanellope’s ponytail actually moves!
⑥ Parasols / Outside Ice Cream Cones & Refreshment Corner

This isn’t a dedicated photo spot — more of a small detail that’s been swapped for the event. Just past World Bazaar, on either side, you’ll find the terrace seats at Ice Cream Cones and Refreshment Corner — and the parasols there have been redone for the event.
Look closely and you’ll spot a cherry on top, with a frilly part below it that looks just like whipped cream. The whole thing reads like a colorful ice cream sundae topped with cream and a cherry — really cute.
⑦ Decorations / Either Side of the Partners Statue

The greenery on either side of the Partners Statue has been dressed up with candy-tree decorations. There aren’t any specific characters here, but since the whole event is themed on the candy world Vanellope imagines, even these small details add to the world-building beautifully.
⑧ Monument (Chip & Dale) / Center, in Front of Cinderella Castle

This is the main monument right in front of Cinderella Castle. The “WELCOME” letters are made of cookies — incredibly cute. Chip and Dale flank both ends. Are they decorating the cookies? Or maybe Dale is just sneaking a bite (lol). With Cinderella Castle as your backdrop, the colorful decor makes for the kind of pop-cute photo you can’t get any other time.
⑨ Lollipops / Around Cinderella Castle Plaza

The flowerbeds around the ⑧ monument are decorated with lollipops shaped like the Mickey & Friends characters. The lollipops behind the monument — Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy — are the same as last year, but new for 2026, the surrounding flowerbeds also feature Goofy, Pluto, Chip & Dale, and Clarice lollipops.
These lollipops are honestly so cute, I’d buy actual park food shaped like them in a heartbeat.
⑩ Monument (Minnie, Pluto, etc.) / Cinderella Castle Plaza, Westernland Side

Over on the Westernland side of Cinderella Castle Plaza, you’ll find a Minnie and Pluto monument. Are they topping the parfaits together? Look closely and you’ll see Mickey and Goofy icing cookies on the parfaits at either end.
⑪ Monument (Donald, Clarice, etc.) / Cinderella Castle Plaza, Tomorrowland Side

This one’s on the Tomorrowland side of the plaza. Maybe Minnie and Pluto did the topping here too? The parfaits are crowned with Donald, Clarice, and Chip & Dale icing cookies.
⑫ Props

The area around the parade route in front of Cinderella Castle has loads of these event props scattered around. Hunting for which character’s props live where is part of the fun.
⑬ Popcorn Wagon

One of the more easily missed event swaps: the popcorn wagons. The wheels have been turned into donuts! It’s a near-perfect match for the candy-popcorn-wagon design on the popcorn buckets being sold for the event.
There are 2 popcorn wagons with donut wheels — one in front of Cafe Orleans in Adventureland, and the other in front of Sweetheart Cafe in World Bazaar.
⑭ Trash Cans

Last but not least — even the trash cans have been quietly redesigned for the event. Most of the cans through World Bazaar and around Cinderella Castle Plaza are decked out in colorful event wraps like the one in the photo. There are several different designs, so check them out as you wander!
Final Thoughts
So that was a tour of all the photo spots from Disney Pal-Palooza “Vanellope’s Sweets Pop World” — Tokyo Disneyland’s spring 2026 event.
Every spot is colorful and pop-cute — perfect for the event’s vibe. They’re scattered throughout the area, so the best way to enjoy them is to take it slow and explore the park as you go. With the warmer spring weather, that kind of relaxed walk-through is exactly the right way to enjoy this event. There’s also tons of cute event food on sale during the event window — taking photos with the food alongside the spots is highly recommended too.
The event runs through June 30, 2026 — if you’re planning a Tokyo Disneyland trip in Japan during the window, definitely make the photo-spot tour part of your day!
