On the chako-kuro blog, we share a wide range of Disney-related information as former annual pass holders who still visit Tokyo Disney Resort at least once a week.
We started this blog because we want as many people as possible to discover and fall in love with the world of Disney that we cherish so dearly.
About chako
Born the same year as Big Thunder Mountain at Tokyo Disneyland.
Made her park debut at age 1. Captivated by the dreams and magic of Disney from a very young age, she chased the dream of “living near the park and getting an annual pass when I grow up” — and made it happen by landing a job at a company in Chiba. An all-rounder who loves attractions, shows, parades, and character greetings alike. Enjoys crafting schedules tailored to whoever she’s visiting the park with.
Currently studying the deeper side of Disney — including the backstories behind park attractions and the hidden messages in Disney films.
Hobbies include eating and putting together fashion outfits.
Having worked part-time at a cake shop for about five years, she has a keen eye for sweets — with chocolate being her absolute favorite. When visiting the park, her policy is to check the food options first before planning the rest of the day.
In the world of fashion, she has amassed over 30,000 followers on the fashion coordinate app WEAR and has served as an official user for 4 brands. On social media, she shares adult-casual outfits styled with items from brands like UNIQLO. She is also steadily building her Disney wardrobe, exploring a stylish and grown-up approach to Disney fashion.

About kuro
Born the same year as Star Tours at Tokyo Disneyland.
Growing up far from the parks, he rarely had the chance to visit and instead grew up watching Disney short films. His favorite keepsake is a Mickey Mouse plush he bought on his very first park visit at age 5.
After moving to the Tokyo area for university, he began visiting the parks roughly every three months. After starting his career and meeting chako, getting an annual pass sparked the beginning of his journey as a true Disney enthusiast.
His hobbies are eating and photography.
An absolute lover of meat, he makes the rounds at popular restaurants across all kinds of genres — yakiniku, steak, and beyond.
His favorite meat dish at Tokyo Disney Resort is the Teriyaki Chicken Leg.
In 2017, he was captivated by the world that photography can express and picked up a camera. His go-to camera is the SONY α7 III. His favorite subject is landscape photography. At Disney, he wanders the parks daily in search of shots that capture the extraordinary.
