Tokyo Disneyland in Japan is hosting Disney Pal-Palooza “Vanellope’s Sweets Pop World” starting April 9, 2026. Ahead of the event, special menu items and select goods went on sale starting in March.
In this post, we’re reviewing one of those items: the Croissant Sandwich (Omelet & Prosciutto) at Sweetheart Cafe. It’s an excellent sandwich that also makes for a great park breakfast.

Croissant Sandwich (Omelet & Prosciutto) — A Closer Look
Here’s a closer look at the Croissant Sandwich (Omelet & Prosciutto).

The croissant is large — about 20 cm long. Inside, a slice of prosciutto runs the full length, with an omelet and baby greens layered on top.
The omelet has cheese, potato, bell pepper, and what looks like finely chopped broccoli mixed in. It’s finished with a sprinkle of black pepper on top.
Croissant Sandwich (Omelet & Prosciutto) — Taste Test
A Crisp, Clean-Eating Sandwich
First, the croissant: it has a strong, mouth-watering buttery aroma. The surface is crisp and flaky — really tasty.
Biting in from the end, the prosciutto and baby greens come along with the bread. The buttery dough plus the salty, refreshing prosciutto is a great combo. One heads-up: prosciutto isn’t the easiest thing to bite cleanly through, so you may end up pulling out a whole strip in one go (lol).
The omelet in the middle delivers a clear cheese flavor along with a noticeable potato presence. With the bell pepper in the mix, it doesn’t get heavy — light and easy to eat. You’ll catch the occasional black pepper hit, and that little bit of spice tightens the flavor up nicely.
Overall, it’s not a heavy sandwich — clean and easy-eating, which makes it ideal for breakfast. Kids should have no trouble with it either.
Don’t Miss the Wrapper
Once you’ve finished eating, take a closer look at the wrapper.

The wrapper is decked out in event-themed art for “Vanellope’s Sweets Pop World,” featuring Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Chip & Dale.
They’re surrounded by candy and sweets — really cute. So cute, in fact, that you’ll feel guilty throwing it away.

Final Thoughts
So that was a look at the Croissant Sandwich (Omelet & Prosciutto), introduced at Sweetheart Cafe in Tokyo Disneyland in March 2026.
A buttery, flaky croissant packed with a generous slice of prosciutto and a hearty omelet — light enough to enjoy as a clean morning bite. Highly recommended as a park breakfast pick.
It debuted as part of the Disney Pal-Palooza “Vanellope’s Sweets Pop World” special menu, but it sticks around through September 14, 2026 — even after the event itself ends. Definitely give it a try if you’re heading to the park during the window!
