Since November 2025, Tokyo Disney Resort in Japan has been running “Disney Sweet Moments Cafe” — a sip-and-snack experience built around enjoying coffee paired with sweets.
Tokyo Disney Resort already has that around-the-world atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re traveling abroad. Sure, hopping rides is great — but slowing down for a coffee break with something sweet is its own kind of magic.
In this post, we’re reviewing the Berry & Pistachio Tart, served at Gondolier’s Snack at Tokyo DisneySea. It’s sweet-tart, genuinely tasty, and made for an idyllic café break.
Berry & Pistachio Tart — Quick Overview
Product: Berry & Pistachio Tart
Price: Single ¥850 / Set ¥1,350–¥1,450 (varies by drink)
Where to buy: Gondolier’s Snack
Available: November 1, 2025 – April 7, 2026
The tart is on the larger side — about 10 cm in diameter. The interior is a vibrant pink, topped with pistachio cream. The pink-and-green color combo is photogenic and very cute. There’s also a piece of white chocolate on top printed with the Disney Sweet Moments Cafe Mickey design.
At ¥850 single, it’s on the higher end for park sweets. Order it as the “Cafe Sweets Set” and you get coffee or caffè latte added on. Coffee makes it ¥1,350; caffè latte ¥1,450. Both are available hot or iced.

Order the Cafe Sweets Set and the drink comes in a Disney Sweet Moments Cafe–themed cup, which is also adorable.

The tart is served at Gondolier’s Snack in Mediterranean Harbor at Tokyo DisneySea. This restaurant often closes earlier than the park, so check the operating hours in advance.
Berry & Pistachio Tart — A Closer Look
Here’s a closer look at what’s inside the Berry & Pistachio Tart.
It pairs strawberry and pistachio, with framboise (raspberry) sauce, feuilletine (crispy crepe pieces), and diced pistachios layered inside.

The Hidden Layers Inside
Looking at it from outside, it seemed like a pretty simple sweet — pink strawberry-style ganache with pistachio cream on top. But cutting in, the layered construction was a real surprise.
As mentioned above, beneath the pink layer you’ll find diced pistachios, feuilletine (crushed thin crispy cookies), and framboise sauce.
These hidden elements amplify the sweet-tart berry note and add layers of crunch and complexity — every bite has a different texture and flavor balance, especially with the pistachio cream on top. I never got bored eating this one.
Pistachio Plays the Perfect Supporting Role
Despite the “Berry & Pistachio” name, the headline flavor is the sweet-tart berry — pistachio comes through more as a subtle background note.
That said, the pistachio is doing real work. Berry on its own would risk being one-note sweet-tart, but pistachio’s slightly bitter edge adds depth and rounds the whole thing out beautifully.
Since the whole concept of Disney Sweet Moments Cafe is about pairing coffee with sweets, the pistachio also makes the tart pair more naturally with coffee.
Overall Ratings

Overall, I gave it a 4 out of 5. Cute looks, sweet-tart and tasty, and a great pairing for coffee — a solid sweet pick.
The point that knocked it down was “Easy to Eat.” It’s served without a fork — you’re meant to pick it up and bite into it. But it’s pretty large, and the tart shell feels like it could break apart on you. We were eating with our 4-year-old daughter, so we asked a Cast Member for a fork before digging in.
Final Thoughts
So that was a look at the Berry & Pistachio Tart at Gondolier’s Snack — one of the menu items at Disney Sweet Moments Cafe.
You can’t tell from the outside, but the layered construction with framboise sauce, pistachios, and feuilletine adds real flavor and texture depth — a genuinely tasty sweet. The sweet-tart profile pairs beautifully with coffee, and we had a lovely café break.
The park is busy and full of energy — but pausing for a Berry & Pistachio Tart and a coffee while soaking in the park’s atmosphere is its own kind of magic. Try it out for that quiet moment.
This menu item is available through April 7, 2026 — give it a try if you’re heading to the park during the window!
