Since November 2025, Tokyo Disney Resort in Japan has been running “Disney Sweet Moments Cafe” — a sip-and-snack experience built around enjoying coffee paired with sweets.
Tokyo Disney Resort already has that around-the-world atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re traveling abroad. Sure, hopping rides is great — but slowing down for a coffee break with something sweet is its own kind of magic.
In this post, we’re reviewing the Caramel Ganache Sandwich, served at Cafe Orleans in Tokyo Disneyland. It’s genuinely delicious — and as advertised by the concept, it gave us a blissful coffee break.

The Caramel Ganache Sandwich is a stick-shaped sweet, about 12 cm long and around 3 cm thick. The center features a piece of white chocolate printed with the Disney Sweet Moments Cafe Mickey design.
The Disney Sweet Moments Cafe Mickey illustration is so cute. It’s also printed on the wrapper that holds the Caramel Ganache Sandwich!
At ¥800 single, it’s on the higher end for park sweets. Order it as the “Cafe Sweets Set” and you get coffee or caffè latte added on. Coffee makes it ¥1,300; caffè latte ¥1,400. Both are available hot or iced.
Order the Cafe Sweets Set and the drink comes in a Disney Sweet Moments Cafe–themed cup, which is also adorable.
The Caramel Ganache Sandwich is served at Cafe Orleans in Adventureland at Tokyo Disneyland. It sits between Pirates of the Caribbean and Theater Orleans (home to “Jamboree Mickey!”). This shop often closes around 6 PM, so check the operating hours in advance.

The Caramel Ganache Sandwich is built like a thick ganache sandwich between cocoa cookies, with caramel cream tucked inside the ganache. The ganache is generously thick — it almost reads like a cake.
A Must-Try for Chocolate Lovers
Now for the actual taste. In one sentence: “Chocolate lovers, do not skip this.”
The cocoa cookies have a crisp bite with a subtle bitter cocoa note. The ganache inside is genuinely sweet, but it’s not one-note sweet — the bitter chocolate notes come through, giving it a refined, well-balanced sweetness. The crispness of the cookies plus the silky-smooth ganache is a perfect pairing.
A couple of bites in, the caramel sauce inside the ganache shows up — and it’s an excellent pairing too. Sweeter than the ganache, but the caramel doesn’t overpower; the ganache flavor still comes through, with the caramel adding its own clear note. Really well balanced.
It reminded me of the Sadaharu AOKI collaboration “Caramel Ganache Cookie Sandwich” that Tokyo Disneyland sold back in 2021 — the flavor profile is very close.
As someone who loves both chocolate and caramel, this lands squarely in my strike zone. I could eat several of these. I’ve already mentally committed to ordering it again.
Pairs Beautifully With Coffee — Go With the Set
You can buy the Caramel Ganache Sandwich on its own, but the move here is the “Cafe Sweets Set.”
As mentioned up top, the whole Disney Sweet Moments Cafe concept is coffee paired with sweets, so the Caramel Ganache Sandwich is on the sweeter side by design.
And in practice — the sweetness of the Caramel Ganache Sandwich paired with the bitterness of coffee is excellent. Coffee plus small bites of this sandwich is the way it’s meant to be enjoyed. Definitely pair it with coffee or caffè latte.
Tea also pairs well — if coffee isn’t your thing, that’s a solid alternative.

It’s genuinely delicious, and the coffee pairing is excellent. As a chance to sit down and enjoy a blissful moment inside a busy park, the value for money is great. Bonus — being stick-shaped, it’s also easy to eat while walking.
