Adventureland at Tokyo Disneyland has a section that recreates the streetscapes of New Orleans, USA. At Café Orléans, the restaurant located there, you can enjoy menu items seasoned in styles inspired by New Orleans.

The Focaccia Sandwich is served at “Café Orléans,” a restaurant in Adventureland at Tokyo Disneyland. To find the restaurant, walk from Pirates of the Caribbean toward Jungle Cruise — it’ll be on your left.

It’s a small restaurant, but you can enjoy your meal on the terrace while taking in the New Orleans streetscapes and jazz music. It feels like a little overseas getaway, so personally I really recommend it.

Recently it has also started accepting Mobile Order, which makes it even easier to use.

The Focaccia Sandwich served at Café Orléans changes with the season. From October 2025 through March 2026, it features honey mustard chicken and Cajun shrimp as the stars.

The size is roughly that of an ordinary hamburger, and at 750 yen for plenty of chicken and shrimp, it feels like good value.

There’s one thing to keep in mind: this Focaccia Sandwich is actually served cold. If you’re picturing it as a sandwich, that’s fine, but some people may associate “focaccia” with something warm. You only find out it’s cold when you order and receive it, so if you were expecting warm, it can be a bit of a shock. Especially in winter when you tend to crave warm foods, I recommend pairing it with the Gumbo Soup available at the same restaurant!

Inside the focaccia, there was lettuce, topped with honey mustard chicken and cheese cream, and four Cajun shrimp on top of that. My impression was that both chicken and shrimp were included in generous amounts, with real eating satisfaction — the amount of filling felt more than adequate.

Another thing you might wonder about is whether it has that distinctive Cajun flavor. As you can see in the photo, only a small amount of Cajun spice is sprinkled on, so it’s not all that spicy — just a hint of that flavor.

It’s not particularly hot, so I think kids can enjoy it too.

Next, the honey mustard chicken beneath the Cajun shrimp. The chicken isn’t a single large piece; it’s shredded like pulled salad chicken, and it appears to be mixed in with cheese cream, mayonnaise, and onions along with the honey mustard chicken.

The image is something like salad chicken generously coated with mustard mayonnaise — rather than being heavy on meat, it eats more like a light, refreshing salad.

The mustard flavor is strong and very delicious. Even though the mustard flavor is strong, it’s barely hot at all, so kids can eat it too. In fact, our four-year-old daughter ate it saying “Delicious! Delicious!”

It’s tasty on its own, but eating it together with the focaccia and Cajun shrimp doubles the deliciousness! There’s a richness within the lightness, making it a flavor that mustard or mayonnaise lovers won’t be able to resist!

Overall impressions

As an overall impression of the Focaccia Sandwich, I’d say it’s recommended for when you want to eat something substantial with the light flavor of a sandwich.

A similar menu item in the parks is the Special Sandwich at Sweetheart Cafe, but because this one uses focaccia, it has more density and more chew than a regular bread sandwich.

More than anything, it uses spices inspired by New Orleans — Cajun and mustard — so if you want to enjoy distinctive spice flavors, this is the one I’d recommend!

One thing to keep in mind: since it’s cold, in winter I think it’s better to pair it with a warm drink or soup.
