From November 2025, Tokyo Disney Resort has filled the area with a wonderfully festive Christmas atmosphere! And one of the easiest ways to enjoy that Christmas mood without even entering the parks is the Disney Resort Line monorail.
The Disney Resort Line is currently running a special limited-time decorated train, “Disney Christmas Liner.” Alongside it, there are also Christmas-design free passes and a stamp rally, with plenty of seasonal content to enjoy.
In this article I’ll give you a detailed report on the limited-time “Disney Christmas Liner” and all the other Disney Resort Line Christmas content.
If you’re curious about the “Duffy & Friends Colorful Happiness Liner” running during the same period, I’ve covered that in a separate article — check it out if you’re interested.

About the Disney Resort Line Christmas Content
There are five different pieces of Christmas content to enjoy on the Disney Resort Line!
- Special train “Disney Christmas Liner”
- Two Christmas-design free passes (QR-code and magnetic-stripe versions)
- Stamp rally
- Christmas limited-edition original sticker (while supplies last)
- Souvenir medal
It’s wonderful that the Disney Resort Line offers so much Christmas content on its own — you don’t even need a park ticket to enjoy it!
About the Disney Christmas Liner
From here, I’ll report on the Disney Christmas Liner itself!
Operating period: Tuesday, November 11, 2025 – Thursday, December 25, 2025
Operating hours: Vary by date — please check the official Disney Resort Line website.
Fare: Adult 300 yen, child 150 yen (standard one-way ticket)
The Disney Christmas Liner runs through Christmas Day, December 25.
The basic fare is 300 yen for adults. However, if you want to take part in the stamp rally running at the same time, you’ll need to buy a free pass, which makes it 700 yen for adults.
This special train is decorated only on the interior. The way to identify it from outside is by the colored stripe along the monorail body — cars with a green stripe are the Disney Christmas Liner.

One thing to watch out for is the operating schedule: the train does not run continuously from first to last service. The operating times are set per day. Detailed schedules are posted on the Disney Resort Line website about four days in advance, so if you really want to catch it, I recommend checking ahead.
All-Christmas Interior Walls — With Park-Exclusive Illustrations!
The moment you step onto the Disney Christmas Liner, the first thing that catches your eye is the wall-to-wall Christmas illustrations! The window glass is also decorated to evoke Christmas wreaths, which is incredibly cute.

The standout detail is the “park-exclusive illustrations.” Look closely and you’ll see the Mickey flower bed and “it’s a small world” — landmarks you spot right when you enter the park — drawn in Christmas versions complete with Santa hats. There are also illustrations of popular Christmas event foods like the chocolate churro and Mickey waffle, giving the whole car a distinctly Tokyo Disney Resort Christmas feel.

Toward the ends of the car, you’ll find illustrations of Mickey & Friends riding a sleigh, a Christmas tree, and even this year’s official Christmas event poster — all worth a look. Personally, I love this year’s Christmas poster design so much I wish they’d sell it as a postcard.

Don’t Miss the Santa-Hat Handrails!
On the Disney Christmas Liner, even the hanging straps get a Christmas makeover. Normally shaped like Mickey, in the Christmas version they’re wearing tiny Santa hats. The hat part is made of fluffy fabric — so cute you’ll want to reach up and touch one!
And because the car’s interior walls are green, photos come out with a perfect Christmas color palette of red hats against green walls!

Christmas Park Icons at the Seat Ends!
The handrails and wall illustrations naturally pull your gaze upward, but don’t forget to look down too!
At the end of each seat row, there are icons printed that represent the parks in Christmas mode! I spotted seven in total: Cinderella Castle, McDuck’s Department Store, S.S. Columbia, Cape Cod, Mickey’s House, Donald’s Boat, and a Christmas tree. Look closely and each icon is fully decked out for the season — covered in snow, hung with Christmas wreaths, or draped with stockings. Seasonal versions of these icons are pretty rare, so personally I really want everyone to take a closer look!

About the Christmas-Design Free Passes
Next up, the Christmas-design free passes. There are two versions: a QR-code pass with Mickey & Friends illustrations, and a magnetic-stripe pass featuring Lil’ Lin Lin.
Both are 700 yen for adults and 350 yen for children. Since participating in the stamp rally (covered below) requires a free pass, I recommend going with one of these Christmas-design versions!

About the Stamp Rally and Original Sticker
During the period the Disney Christmas Liner runs, the Disney Resort Line also holds a stamp rally. To take part, you need a free pass that has passed through the ticket gate — show the pass to a cast member and they’ll give you the rally card.
Stamps are placed at all four Resort Line stations, and you’ll need to get off at each. Some stations require you to exit through the gates, which is why a free pass is required to join in.
Each station has stamps in two different colors, and once you collect all eight colors and layer them, an illustration of Mickey and a Christmas tree emerges.
While you’re at it, ask a cast member for the Christmas original sticker too. It features Disney Resort Line in a Christmas design — really cute and seasonal. It’s available while supplies last, so head over early if you’re interested.

Final Thoughts
How did you like it? In this article I introduced the Christmas content on the Disney Resort Line. From the limited-time “Disney Christmas Liner” to the free passes and the stamp rally, there’s so much to enjoy — you can fully soak in the Tokyo Disney Resort Christmas mood without even entering the parks. Be sure to enjoy the Disney Resort Line at Christmas time!
