Royal Banquet of Arendelle is a restaurant inside Fantasy Springs at Tokyo DisneySea, set in the area themed after Frozen. Designed to resemble the great hall of Arendelle Castle, it’s a popular spot for dining while soaking up the world of Elsa and Anna.
The menu got a major overhaul on April 4, 2026, and the cold pasta featured in this review is one of the new items. It’s available for a limited time, running through October 31 as the summer heat starts to fade. A cold pasta dish like this is especially welcome during Tokyo DisneySea’s hot summer months, making it easy to eat even when the heat kills your appetite.
Go with the Chef’s Recommended Set (¥2,000) and you’ll get hash browns plus a choice of soft drink. That’s a ¥620 upcharge over the solo option, but with the hash browns and drink included, the set is the better choice if you’re looking for a full lunch or dinner.
One thing to note: Royal Banquet of Arendelle is a Mobile Order-only restaurant. You’ll need to place your order in advance through the Tokyo Disney Resort App before arriving. Your preferred time slot can fill up if you wait too long, so if this dish is on your list, it’s best to reserve a slot as soon as you enter the park.
What’s In The Dish

The dish is built around cold pasta tossed in tomato-soy milk sauce, topped with a shrimp fritter, shrimp, salmon, and a corn-and-mayo-style salad with edamame. Between the red of the tomato sauce and shrimp, the green of the edamame and daikon sprouts, and the yellow of the corn, it’s a colorful plate that gets your appetite going.
According to the official description, the tomato tang and dill aroma give the pasta a refreshing edge, and the recommended way to eat it is to mix everything together well — the shrimp, salmon, edamame, and corn.
Taste Test Review
Now let’s get into what we actually thought after eating the Cold Pasta with Shrimp, Salmon & Tomato Soy Milk Sauce.

The Tomato Soy Milk Sauce
The sauce reminded us of a typical cold tomato cream pasta. Since it’s built on a soy milk base, the tomato’s tartness is toned down, giving it an overall mild flavor. It’s not the sharp, punchy kind of acidity, so even people who aren’t fans of tomato sauce should find it easy to eat.
The dill used for aroma stays in the background rather than taking over, so it’s barely noticeable. Even if you’re not a fan of herbs, you should be able to eat this without any issue.
Being a cold pasta, it slides down easily with a light, refreshing flavor, and we found ourselves reaching for the next bite even on a hot summer day. It’s the kind of dish that comes to the rescue when the heat has zapped your appetite.
The Shrimp Fritter
The shrimp fritter on top comes with three bite-sized shrimp, which feels like a nice treat. Take a bite and the shrimp inside the batter is incredibly plump and springy — honestly, it’s so good! The fritter carries its own tomato flavor separate from the pasta sauce, and this one has a noticeably sharper tomato tang. Against the mild pasta, it creates a satisfying two-layered flavor contrast.
The Toppings: Shrimp, Salmon & Corn
Aside from the fritter, there’s also separate shrimp mixed into the toppings on the pasta itself. This shrimp keeps its firm, springy bite too, and tastes great tossed together with the tomato-soy milk sauce — a different way to enjoy shrimp than the fritter offers.
At first glance, the salmon looks easy to overlook on the plate, but it turned out to have real presence once we started eating. It appears to be a piece of smoked salmon, and its flavor really comes through the moment it hits your mouth! There isn’t a huge amount of it, but every time a piece turned up, it felt like a flavor switch-up, which kept the whole dish from getting repetitive.
The corn-and-mayo salad stands on its own among the toppings, and eating it together with the pasta adds the richness of mayo and the sweetness of corn for an even milder overall taste. The official description recommends mixing everything together, but personally, we’d suggest starting with just the tomato-soy milk sauce first, then stirring in the corn salad partway through — that way you get to enjoy how the flavor changes.
On top of being served cold, it’s loaded with toppings and reasonably well-balanced nutritionally, which makes it a great fit for a hot summer day.
Is It Kid-Friendly?
With its mild tomato base and no spice, this pasta is easy for young kids to eat. When we shared it with our 4-year-old, they liked it enough to dig in and polish off their share all on their own. Royal Banquet of Arendelle doesn’t have a dedicated kids’ menu, so this cold pasta works well whether you’re splitting it as a family or ordering a separate one just for your child.
Portion Size & How Filling It Is
On its own, the pasta portion is reasonable, and with three shrimp fritters plus the salmon and corn-mayo toppings, it has enough to feel satisfying. That said, cold pasta tends to be less filling than a hot dish, so if you want it to work as a full meal, the Chef’s Recommended Set (¥2,000) with hash browns and a drink will leave you more satisfied.
For our dinner with our 4-year-old, we ordered the solo pasta along with an order of Berry Whipped Pancakes with Maple Sauce to share. The pasta was so good that our 4-year-old ate more than their fair share, so the pasta alone wasn’t quite enough — but splitting the pancake alongside it made for the right amount of food. If you’re planning to share, we’d recommend going with the set instead.
