The fall 2026 cake is themed around Chip and Dale. The set comes with the cake plus your choice of coffee or tea. This time the cake is the Griotte Cherry and Milk Chocolate Cake (griotte is a tart sour cherry), and the set costs ¥2,800.
Some past sets included a sweets drink. This set comes with the cake and coffee or tea only, and the sweets drink is sold as a separate menu item.

A Closer Look at the Griotte Cherry and Milk Chocolate Cake
A Chip and Dale Design
The cake is shaped like a tree stump with Chip and Dale sitting on top. It reminded us a little of Chip ‘n Dale’s Playground, the kids’ play area inside Disney Ambassador Hotel.
Around the cake you’ll find pistachio sponge cake, chocolate crunch, cherries, and raspberries, and Chip and Dale themselves are made of sugar candy. Even small details like moss and soil are recreated, not just the stump. It’s a really cute, beautifully made cake.
The stump is the cake itself. The main layer is milk chocolate mousse, with griotte cherry jam and royaltine (crushed crispy cookie flakes) inside. A cocoa sponge cake forms the base.
Taste Test: Flavor and Satisfaction
The milk chocolate mousse at the center of the cake is gently sweet with a rich, milky flavor, and it was very easy to eat. It isn’t overly sweet, so people who don’t love sweets and little kids can enjoy it too.
The griotte cherry jam in the middle is a smooth paste, and our slice also had about two whole griotte cherries in it. Eaten with the milk chocolate mousse, the jam adds a pleasant tartness. On top of that, there’s a generous layer of royaltine under the jam, so you also get a nice crunch.
The toppings around the cake keep the flavors changing as you eat. The raspberries and cherries add a bright, tart accent. Meanwhile, the pistachio sponge, the macadamia nuts, and the chocolate crunch bring a nutty flavor to the milk chocolate mousse that really feels like fall. The chocolate crunch is extra crunchy, with a deep chocolate flavor and a hint of salt, which made it another great accent.
All in all, this cake is easy to enjoy for both kids and adults. Thanks to all the different flavors, it never got boring, and we enjoyed it right down to the last bite.
