Tokyo Disney Resort has plenty of attractions, parades, and other content to enjoy, but one of the highlights is also “dining”. The Disney parks offer so many appealing foods you can only taste here that it’s hard to decide what to eat.
The “Crystal Palace Restaurant” at Tokyo Disneyland is a hugely popular restaurant — the only buffet restaurant inside the Tokyo Disney Resort parks.
This Crystal Palace Restaurant had a renewal opening on April 15, 2025, with a completely refreshed menu — and amazingly, you can now enjoy popular park foods as part of the buffet!
This time, I’ll introduce the park foods you can enjoy at Crystal Palace Restaurant.
About Crystal Palace Restaurant
Location: Tokyo Disneyland, Adventureland
Price: Adults 5,000 yen, elementary school children 2,500 yen, young children (ages 4+) 1,500 yen
Time limit: 75 minutes
Priority Seating: Available
Crystal Palace Restaurant is located in Adventureland at Tokyo Disneyland. Although it’s in Adventureland, it sits right along the parade route in front of Cinderella Castle, so it’s very easy to find. Anyone who has visited Disneyland has probably seen it at least once.

At 5,000 yen for adults, the price is a little higher than a typical buffet. The 75-minute time limit is a bit short, but since there’s so much to do in the park — attractions, parades, shows — personally I don’t find the short time too much of a problem.
Note that Crystal Palace Restaurant is a Priority Seating restaurant, so reservations are required in advance. Reservations open one month before your visit date, so if you’re interested, I recommend booking early.
Popular Park Foods You Can Enjoy at Crystal Palace Restaurant
From here, I’ll introduce the popular park foods that can be enjoyed at Crystal Palace Restaurant.
Popular foods from Tokyo Disneyland
Chicken Curry (Mild) / Hungry Bear Restaurant
The “Chicken Curry (Mild)” served at Hungry Bear Restaurant in Westernland is the most standard curry among those offered at the restaurant. The on-site restaurant offers both mild and medium-spicy versions, but Crystal Palace Restaurant serves the mild version, which is easy for kids to eat.
Many Disney fans grew up eating this curry from a young age and have strong attachments to it, making it a menu item with many devoted fans.

Bourbon-Flavored Chicken / Blue Bayou Restaurant
“Bourbon-Flavored Chicken” comes from Blue Bayou Restaurant, which overlooks the cove of the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. At Blue Bayou Restaurant, this dish appears as the main course of their course menu.
Blue Bayou Restaurant is also one of the hardest restaurants to book, and since it only serves course meals, it’s great that a menu item normally available only as part of a course is now offered at the buffet! Some people find it difficult to visit with young children, but here you can enjoy it without worry — definitely a dish I want you to try.

Gumbo Soup / Café Orléans
From Café Orléans, located in the New Orleans area of Adventureland (the same area as Blue Bayou Restaurant), comes the seasonal “Gumbo Soup.”
In recent years, Gumbo Soup has been served only during the winter season, but it’s extremely popular — so much so that long lines form even under cold winter skies. Since you can get it any time at Crystal Palace Restaurant, social media was filled with surprise and joy when the renewal opened.
I love it too, and it’s the menu item I most want to recommend. The article below introduces the charm and deliciousness of Gumbo Soup in more detail, so please take a look if you’re interested.

Dry Curry Doria / Grandma Sara’s Kitchen
The Dry Curry Doria comes from Grandma Sara’s Kitchen, located right at the entrance of Critter Country. At Grandma Sara’s Kitchen, it appears on the regular menu as the Dry Curry Doria Plate (a set with potatoes and steamed vegetables).
Grandma Sara’s Kitchen is themed as a restaurant run by Grandma Sara the muskrat, so it offers homey, easy-to-eat menu items — and this dish, too, is an approachable and delicious one.

Vegetable & Tomato Sauce Pasta / Eastside Cafe
Pasta is a buffet essential, and “Vegetable & Tomato Sauce Pasta” comes from Eastside Cafe in World Bazaar. This is also a regular menu item, and you can choose this pasta in the pasta set or in seasonal special sets.
It’s the standard pasta — with no quirks, it’s a dish anyone of any age can enjoy.
This restaurant is also a Priority Seating restaurant that requires reservations, so it’s not a menu item you can casually try.
Oven-Baked Swordfish with Tomato Soy Milk Sauce / Queen of Hearts Banquet Hall
From Queen of Hearts Banquet Hall in Fantasyland, “Oven-Baked Swordfish with Tomato Soy Milk Sauce” is offered as a fish dish. Among the main dishes at this restaurant, it’s my personal favorite.
The sauce is mellow and gentle in flavor, making it very easy to eat. I gave it to my daughter when she was 1 or 2 years old, and she really liked it and ate plenty! It’s a menu item that even small children can enjoy.
This restaurant isn’t on Priority Seating, but it’s so popular that long lines always form — so being able to enjoy it at Crystal Palace Restaurant is great!

Custard Pudding / Queen of Hearts Banquet Hall
For dessert, the “Custard Pudding” from Queen of Hearts Banquet Hall is offered. It’s normally sold as a set with a souvenir cup, but the souvenir cup is not included here.
It’s smooth and so delicious you’ll want to keep going back for refills — highly recommended.

Elderflower-Flavored Jelly / Eastside Cafe
Eastside Cafe also contributes a dessert menu item: “Elderflower-Flavored Jelly.” The coloring is beautifully delicate, isn’t it? At Eastside Cafe, this is offered as a single 750-yen item — not cheap by any means — but at Crystal Palace Restaurant, you can have all you want.
At Eastside Cafe, it includes plenty of fruit, but here it’s mostly just the jelly. That said, fruit is set out nearby, so you can pair it with your favorite fruit to customize.

Popular foods from Tokyo DisneySea
Sushi Roll / Bayside Takeout
From Tokyo DisneySea comes the “Sushi Roll” from Bayside Takeout in Port Discovery. The Sushi Roll is a popular one-handed menu item unique to Tokyo DisneySea.
Although it’s called a “sushi roll,” the filling is “shrimp & chicken katsu” rather than raw fish, so even small children can enjoy it.
At Bayside Takeout it’s served at about 20 cm in size, but at Crystal Palace Restaurant it comes in bite-sized pieces, which is great for casual eating! It also comes with a topping of tobiko (flying fish roe).

Charlie’s Special Miso Clam Chowder
From Restaurant Sakura, the only Japanese restaurant in Tokyo DisneySea, comes “Charlie’s Special Miso Clam Chowder.” It’s one of the few single-item menu offerings at Restaurant Sakura, but since the main offerings are Japanese set meals, many people may have thought “looks delicious! I want to try it!” but held back.
Among Disney fans, however, “Charlie’s Special Miso Clam Chowder” is considered the signature menu item of Restaurant Sakura — it’s that delicious and that popular.
At Crystal Palace Restaurant, it’s placed next to the Gumbo Soup. Both are seriously delicious and hugely popular, so being able to have as much of both as you want is wonderful!

Oaken’s Foo-Hoo Bread / Oaken’s OK Foods
From Fantasy Springs, “Oaken’s Foo-Hoo Bread” from Oaken’s OK Foods in the Frozen Arendelle area is offered. Inspired by the Norwegian specialty “cardamom roll” (Norway being the setting of Frozen), the “Cardamom & Meat” flavor created quite a buzz when it first opened due to its somewhat unusual taste.
At Crystal Palace Restaurant, it’s served at about 1/4 the original size, so those who didn’t have the courage to try it before can casually give it a taste — which is great!

Popular foods common to both parks
Mickey Churros (Cinnamon)
The “Mickey Churros” is a well-known park food that represents Tokyo Disney Resort. The flavor served is the standard cinnamon, the most classic flavor in the park. With its crisp outside, chewy inside, and the addictive aroma of cinnamon, it’s an absolutely delicious menu item.
It’s served at about 1/4 the size of the version sold around the park, making it very easy to eat. For some reason, at Crystal Palace Restaurant it was placed in the food corner rather than the dessert corner (lol).

Little Green Mochi (Little Green Man)
“Little Green Mochi” — inspired by the Little Green Men from Toy Story — is a hugely popular park food famous for being photogenic on social media. Chewy mochi-style dough is filled with cream.
Normally it comes in a set of three with different cream flavors, but at Crystal Palace Restaurant, all of them were served with custard cream. Three pieces makes for a fairly filling treat, but since you can have just one at a time here, you can finish one easily as a dessert after a meal.

Cream Cheese Brownie
The “Cream Cheese Brownie” is one of the popular one-handed menu items in the park. A thick brownie is topped with a marbled layer of cream cheese.
If you buy it normally, it comes in a fairly large 10 cm × 10 cm size that makes for a substantial treat. At Crystal Palace Restaurant, it’s served in bite-sized pieces that are easy to eat, and it even comes topped with whipped cream and a Mickey-shaped chocolate.
It’s a menu item I love so much it ranks in my top 5 favorite park foods. The balance between the sweetness of the chocolate and the refreshing cream cheese is exquisite — truly delicious and highly recommended.

Summary
How did you like it? This time I introduced the park foods you can enjoy at Crystal Palace Restaurant in Tokyo Disneyland.
