This Premium Sweets Set comes with an original charm (while supplies last). It’s a charm with a design where Mickey wears a Donald-colored outfit to match the event, and it’s very cute.

From here, I introduce each menu item one by one.

Appetizers

Roast beef and frittata (left in the photo below)

A frittata is a traditional Italian egg dish similar to a thick omelet. The frittata in this menu had chopped broccoli and bacon mixed into the egg. Roast beef was layered on top of the frittata, and despite its small size, it was satisfying to eat. The meaty texture of the roast beef paired exquisitely with the fluffy frittata, the flavor balance was excellent, and it was delicious. The frittata itself was properly seasoned and tasted great on its own.

Tomato and mozzarella (right in the photo above)

Mozzarella cheese is sandwiched between colorful red, yellow, and green tomatoes, topped with an olive. The vivid appearance gives it an appetite-stirring design. There’s no sauce on it; it’s a dish where you enjoy the natural flavors of the ingredients themselves. The juiciness of the tomatoes stands out for a refreshing taste, so eating it between sweets refreshes your palate and lets you enjoy sweet and savory in good balance.

Tuna and seafood ball (right in the photo below)

The red of the tuna contrasted with the white and pink of the seafood ball makes for a very cute look. The seafood ball is a fish paste, with a solid fish flavor that I really enjoyed. The tuna itself is simple with no soy sauce or other seasoning, but the seafood ball is well seasoned, so eating them together was delicious.

Galantine of chicken breast (left in the photo above)

A galantine is a French dish where meat is stuffed, shaped into a cylinder, and then steamed or boiled. This time, a quail egg was placed on top of the galantine. I couldn’t tell exactly what the stuffing was, but since it was green, it was probably finely chopped vegetables. The texture was much like chicken breast itself, but it was moist and easy to eat. The yolk of the quail egg in the center was mixed with mayonnaise to become something like tartar sauce, and the combination with the galantine was very tasty.

Breads

Corned beef and broad beans

I wondered “what is ‘corned beef’?” — it’s a processed food made from salt-cured beef. Pink star-shaped bread is filled with corned beef mixed with mayonnaise. Broad beans top it off and add a textural accent. The saltiness of the corned beef and mayonnaise comes through well, making it very tasty and easy to keep eating.

Shrimp and potato

A sandwich with pink shrimp-flavored potato salad inside white bread. The pointed end of the bread looks like Donald’s bottom and is adorable. I expected actual shrimp inside but couldn’t confirm any; it felt more like shrimp-flavored potato salad. The shrimp flavor was quite pronounced, so the shrimp may have been finely chopped and mixed in. It has a familiar, easy-to-eat taste that I’d recommend for kids too. My 3-year-old enjoyed it as well.

Pulled pork

Pulled pork is a dish where pork is slow-cooked at low temperature, then shredded and mixed with sauce. This time, pulled pork dressed with a Mexican-style sauce, along with lettuce, is sandwiched in a yellow Donald-foot-shaped bread. The pulled pork was mixed with vegetables that looked like cabbage, adding a crisp texture that made it delicious.

Octopus Bolognese

A dish with octopus Bolognese in the center of a Danish pastry. It looks like a simple Bolognese (meat sauce), but the octopus flavor comes through clearly. The octopus was finely chopped, so the chewy texture characteristic of octopus was hardly noticeable. It also features a chest-ribbon design of Donald’s, making for a cute look. This is another item I’d recommend for kids.

Desserts

The dessert is a two-layered glass dessert. The upper part is citrus mousse, and the lower part is mango lassi.

Full photo of the glass dessert

Citrus mousse

The citrus mousse is in the upper part of the glass dessert. A thin citrus jelly is layered on top of the mousse, and on that sit sugar-craft Donald and Pete. Around them, pineapple and mango pieces are arranged for a vivid color scheme befitting Donald. I expected a refreshing flavor from a citrus mousse, but in addition to the tartness it was quite sweet and very satisfying. There was citrus gelée inside the mousse, and its sweetness was kept well in check while also having the slight bitterness typical of citrus, balancing out the sweetness nicely.
A tube-shaped cookie was included, and the instructions said to use it as a straw to drink the mango lassi — but I just ate it on its own (lol).

Citrus mousse

Mango lassi

This is the lower part of the glass dessert. Mango lassi is an Indian drink based on yogurt. This time, plenty of mango sauce is poured on top of the lassi. Although a lassi is technically a drink, it was set softly so I could eat it with a spoon. Looking closely, a Donald-foot-shaped jelly peeks out along the glass from the lassi, which was adorable. Mango itself is a sweet fruit, so I braced myself for sweetness, but the citrus mousse on top was actually sweeter. Along with the sweetness, the mellow flavor of the lassi made it easy to eat. Like the citrus mousse, it has plenty of volume, so rather than saving it for last, I’d recommend taking breaks with the appetizers in between to make it easier to eat.

Petits fours

Pâte de fruits

Pâte de fruits is a French confection where fruit juice or purée is set into a jelly. This time it was a mango-flavored pâte de fruits, with a solid mango aroma and flavor to enjoy. The texture was a soft jelly, and it was very tasty. Powdered sugar coats the outside, but trying to eat the whole thing with it sends the powder flying, so people wearing dark-colored clothes should be careful.

Pâte de fruits

Macaron

A white macaron is sandwiched with berry-flavored cream, and Donald’s crown is printed on the shell. The macaron itself is crisp, with the berry flavor of the cream coming through nicely — very tasty. It’s a light macaron, more like baked egg white than the chewy type, so it was easy to eat.

Tart

A bite-sized tart with custard cream inside, topped with melon. It’s a standard tart and easy to eat. It’s gone in moments, but the custard cream had a rich, pronounced egg flavor and was very delicious.

Tart

White chocolate mousse

The most delicious item in this Premium Sweets Set was this white chocolate mousse. It comes in a container with a lid, and when you open it, a cute duck-shaped white chocolate mousse appears! The duck’s face is made of sugar candy, and the body is the white chocolate mousse. Finely crushed thin cookie crumbs are spread around the mousse. The white chocolate mousse is so soft you’d think it was whipped cream, with an extremely smooth mouthfeel! After the flavor of white chocolate, a rich, high-milkfat milk flavor spreads out, making it very delicious. The cookie crumbs around the mousse add a crisp texture, and eating them together doubles the deliciousness. The portion is just one bite, but it left me wanting more.
