“Tokyo DisneySea Food & Wine Festival” is a limited-time event running at Tokyo DisneySea from April 8, 2025. The event features tons of exclusive foods, drinks, and alcoholic beverages — so many that it’s hard to decide what to try!
In this article, I’ll introduce 5 must-try foods from the event-exclusive lineup that I want everyone to try! Read this and you’ll be sure to enjoy the “Tokyo DisneySea Food & Wine Festival” to the fullest!
Overview of the Tokyo DisneySea Food & Wine Festival
The theme of this event is reportedly “traveling the world through food.” Each area of Tokyo DisneySea has an exotic atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re on a world tour, and the concept is to enjoy delicious foods as you wander through them!
During the event, in addition to casual foods and drinks for snacking on the go, there are also course meals and “programs to enjoy food more deeply” focused on specific themes like spices and tea — plenty of content to dive into.
The snack-style foods can generally be purchased by anyone, but the course meals and the “programs to enjoy food more deeply” require reservations such as Priority Seating, so it’s a good idea to check availability in advance.
Event period: April 8, 2025 – June 30, 2025
* Some course meals (Chef’s Imagination) are offered through September 15, 2025.
Event-exclusive leaflet
At the “Tokyo DisneySea Food & Wine Festival,” an event-exclusive leaflet is handed out, letting you check the menu items and where they’re sold. You can check via the app or website too, but the leaflet is convenient because you can open it up and see the full picture. It also makes a great souvenir — be sure to grab one!
Leaflets are placed at each food location, or you can ask a cast member to give you one.

5 must-try foods at the Tokyo DisneySea Food & Wine Festival

1. Popcorn (Scallop Garlic Butter flavor)
Another unique popcorn flavor only at Tokyo Disney Resort has arrived! This time it’s Scallop Garlic Butter. Just hearing the name, it sounds like something that would pair perfectly with a drink.
The first thing I noticed eating it was that the flavor is milder than I expected. Given that name, I imagined a strong, salty taste, but it’s actually mild enough for kids to munch on without concern.
Even mild, the flavor still feels like it would pair well with a drink. That’s because the garlic flavor is strong — for adults, it’s the kind of taste that makes you want a drink. The scallop comes through as a subtle “dashi” hint, which fits the seaside atmosphere of American Waterfront wonderfully.
It’s the perfect item for snacking on while walking through the parks, so I highly recommend it.

2. Candied Sweet Potato Sundae (Liberty Landing Diner)
The event has several sweets on offer, and the one I most recommend is the “Candied Sweet Potato Sundae.”
The Mickey-shaped piece on top of the soft-serve makes a real visual impact, and it’s daigaku-imo (Japanese candied sweet potato). Beneath the soft-serve is okoshi (a Japanese puffed-rice candy), and beneath that is warabi mochi with black-sugar syrup — making this a “Japanese-style” sundae.

The Mickey-shaped daigaku-imo has a restrained sweetness that makes it easy to eat. They’re fairly thick and you get two pieces, so it’s quite filling. The soft-serve is rich and milky, and pairs beautifully with the black-sugar syrup. Add the crunchy texture of the okoshi and the bouncy chewiness of the warabi mochi, and you get a sweet with a variety of textures to enjoy.
One tip for eating it: if you go strictly top-down, you’ll be left with okoshi and warabi mochi at the end. Eat some from the top, then push your spoon all the way down so you can scoop the okoshi and warabi mochi together with the soft-serve. It’s also pretty filling, so sharing might be a good idea.
It looks adorable and tastes great, so adults and kids alike will be smiling! A must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth!

Price: 800 yen
3. Braised Pork with Apple Mustard Sauce
Three bite-sized pieces of braised pork (kakuni) topped generously with apple mustard sauce, served over mashed potatoes. Even standing in front of the stall, the great aroma wafts out and gets your appetite going.

Eating it, the braised pork is juicy, very tender, and delicious. The pork itself has a fairly standard seasoning, but the standout is the apple mustard sauce! It seems to have apple puree mixed into the mustard, giving the sauce a clear sweet-and-tart apple flavor. The pairing with the mustard works exceptionally well!
The mustard is generous, but the spicy kick is barely there, so even people who don’t like spicy foods can enjoy it. The mashed potatoes underneath are smooth and tasty, making this a great pick for a light snack.
Plenty of sauce, with fruity sweetness instead of heat, so it’s recommended even for people who can’t handle spice. The mashed potatoes on the side are also excellent, leaving you fully satisfied. It also pairs well with alcohol — a great pick to enjoy at a leisurely pace from a terrace seat.

4. Lemon and Peach Fruit Iced Tea
This menu item is provided by Kirin Beverage Company, an official sponsor of Tokyo Disney Resort. It’s a fruit iced tea made by adding fruit to “Gogo no Kocha Lemon Tea.”

As you can see, it’s packed with chunks of fruit — a fruity, delicious drink! The menu name says lemon and peach, but it also contains lime, grapefruit, and mango. The balance of fruit tartness and sweetness is perfect, making it easy to drink — a refreshing choice for hot days or whenever you want to refresh. There’s also tea jelly at the bottom, adding fun to the texture!
The lemon and lime slices are large enough to squeeze for extra flavor, but it’s plenty fruity and tasty even without squeezing. The website notes that “elderflower syrup” is added, which explains the refreshing notes reminiscent of lychee or muscat.
It’s not simply Gogo no Kocha with fruit added — it’s been thoroughly customized, and you can tell it’s a special drink you can only get at Tokyo DisneySea! It’s also colorful and undoubtedly Instagram-worthy! Definitely a recommended drink to try!
Just one note: this drink is sold cash-only, so keep that in mind.

5. Spicy Chicken Wing Gyoza
This one isn’t a snack-style menu item — it’s served at the restaurant Volcania Restaurant. Called “Spicy Chicken Wing Gyoza,” it’s a chicken wing stuffed with gyoza filling. In addition to ordering it on its own, you can also order it as part of the Tasting Selection with a wine or craft beer flight.

Eating it, the deep-fried wing has a crisp exterior with fluffy, juicy contents — very tasty. A house-made mixed spice is sprinkled on top, but it’s not all that spicy — it’s more about enjoying the spice flavor than the heat. The gyoza-filled section has no bones, so it’s easy to eat. Mashed potatoes come on the side, making this a great choice for a light snack or to pair with a drink.
If you want more heat, you can also add the restaurant’s Spicy Harissa Sauce or Black Mala Sauce — both sold there — for an even tastier experience.

Price: 800 yen
