Tokyo Disneyland in Japan kicked off the sixth installment of Disney Pal-Palooza — “Vanellope’s Sweets Pop World” — on April 9, 2026.

A handful of merchandise and special menu items actually went on sale back in March, ahead of the event itself. As the name suggests, the lineup is packed with pop, colorful, and adorable sweets. Today I’m focusing on one of the most fun items: the “Pal-Palooza Parfait,” a build-your-own dessert where you pick your favorite combination yourself.

The finished parfait perfectly captured the playful vibe of the event — and on top of that, it actually tasted fantastic!

Pal-Palooza Parfait — The Basics

At a glance

Item: Pal-Palooza Parfait
Price: ¥1,100
Where to buy: Ice Cream Cones, World Bazaar, Tokyo Disneyland
Sales period: March 9, 2026 (Mon) – June 30, 2026 (Tue)

The Pal-Palooza Parfait is sold at “Ice Cream Cones,” the ice-cream specialty shop in Tokyo Disneyland’s World Bazaar.

Sales started in March — earlier than the event itself — and will continue through June 30, when the event wraps up.

There’s also a separate piece of Pal-Palooza Parfait merchandise on sale at the same time, available at “Pastry Palace” right next door to Ice Cream Cones. I covered that one in a separate article — check it out below if you’re curious.

How to Build Your Pal-Palooza Parfait

From the bottom up, the Pal-Palooza Parfait is layered as jelly and fruit, soft-serve ice cream, sauce, waffle, toppings, and a cherry on top.

The parts you get to customize are the “base” (jelly, fruit, and waffle), the sauce poured over the soft-serve, and the topping sprinkled on top. There are 2 bases, 3 sauces, and 2 toppings — which gives you 12 possible combinations in total.

Step 1: Base

  • Peach & Berry Jelly
  • Mango & Blue Jelly

Step 2: Sauce

  • Tropical Fruit
  • Chocolate Syrup
  • Raspberry

Step 3: Topping

  • Colorful Pop Sugar
  • Dried Strawberry & Biscuit

Once you’ve decided on your combination, just tell the cast member which base, sauce, and topping you’d like at the counter, and they’ll put your parfait together for you.

One thing to note: only the Step 3 topping is handed to you in a small separate packet at checkout. The parfait itself arrives with the base, soft-serve, and sauce already assembled — you sprinkle the topping on yourself right before digging in.

Tasting Report: My Pal-Palooza Parfait Experience

Two Pal-Palooza Parfaits I ordered at Tokyo Disneyland

I ordered two Pal-Palooza Parfaits this visit, deliberately picking different bases, sauces, and toppings for each so I could compare them side by side.

Parfait #1 (left in the photo):

  • Base → Peach & Berry Jelly
  • Sauce → Raspberry
  • Topping → Dried Strawberry & Biscuit

Parfait #2 (right in the photo):

  • Base → Mango & Blue Jelly
  • Sauce → Tropical Fruit
  • Topping → Colorful Pop Sugar

I went back and forth on the sauces — chocolate seemed like a safe bet for either base, and I could already kind of imagine what it would taste like, so I went with raspberry and tropical fruit instead. The result was one parfait built around berry flavors and another with a refreshing tropical vibe — probably the two most “intuitive” combinations most people would land on.

Both parfaits share the same soft-serve ice cream and cherry on top. The soft-serve is rich and milky — easily delicious enough to eat on its own!

My Take on the Peach & Berry Jelly Base

Peach & Berry Jelly base Pal-Palooza Parfait

With the Peach & Berry Jelly base, you get — from the bottom up — berry jelly, chunky pieces of peach, whipped cream, and strawberry-flavored crepe wrapped around the soft-serve.

I paired this with the raspberry sauce and the dried strawberry & biscuit topping. The biscuits in the topping looked like a mix of plain and cocoa-flavored ones.

First, I tried the topping with a spoonful of soft-serve — and wow, the crunch of the biscuits combined with the tangy dried strawberry against that milky ice cream was fantastic. The dried strawberry was firm enough to give a real bite to it. After a few minutes, once the topping had softened a little, the cocoa biscuits started to come through more, which was a whole different kind of delicious.

Next up was the strawberry-flavored crepe wrapped around the soft-serve. The strawberry flavor was nicely pronounced — and eating it together with the soft-serve was absolutely top-tier. It would be a waste to wolf it down, so I’d recommend taking it slow, alternating bites of crepe with soft-serve and jelly. That way, you get little bursts of texture all the way to the bottom.

And finally, the peach and berry jelly at the very bottom. The biggest surprise here was how big and how many the peach chunks were — bite-sized, plentiful, and seriously satisfying. The peach and berry jelly have a refreshing sweetness with a gentle tang, so I’d actually suggest going for a vertical scoop early on — drag your spoon from the bottom up so you get a bit of everything in one bite. The milky soft-serve and fruity jelly meld together beautifully in your mouth!

This combination ended up being all about that bright, slightly tart berry-and-peach flavor. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, swapping the sauce for chocolate would crank up the sweetness — and the dried strawberry & biscuit topping (with those cocoa biscuits in the mix) would probably pair really well with it.

My Take on the Mango & Blue Jelly Base

Mango & Blue Jelly base Pal-Palooza Parfait

With the Mango & Blue Jelly base, you get — from the bottom up — blue jelly, mango, whipped cream, and a cocoa-flavored crepe wrapped around the soft-serve.

For this one, I went with the tropical fruit sauce and the colorful pop sugar topping. The pop sugar mix had star- and heart-shaped pieces in it — way too cute.

Working my way down from the top, the first thing that stood out was the colorful pop sugar. It’s a firm, crunchy candy that gives a real “crackle” with every bite — a fun textural punch.

The cocoa crepe wrapping the soft-serve had a deep, well-defined cocoa flavor that paired beautifully with the soft-serve. Even when eaten together with the jelly and mango below, the sweet, refreshing fruit notes and the cocoa’s slight bitterness clicked together perfectly.

Just like the peach in the other base, the mango here is generous — chunky, bite-sized pieces packed in. The blue jelly tastes like a Blue Hawaii shaved-ice syrup: bright and refreshing. Eat it together with the mango and you’re instantly transported to a tropical vacation!

With this one too, I’d skip the “top-to-bottom in order” approach and just go random — scoop some jelly and mango from the bottom, hit the crepe in between, mix it up. That’s the way to enjoy it.

Overall, this combo was all about that tropical-vacation vibe — tropical fruit sauce, mango, and blue jelly all working together. The pleasant surprise was the crepe: that bright tropical base plus a hit of cocoa bitterness was unexpectedly delicious. And if you’ve got a sweet tooth, this one would also work great with chocolate sauce instead.

Which Base Should You Pick?

After eating both Pal-Palooza Parfaits back to back, the biggest takeaway is this: the base is what really decides the overall flavor. So which one should you go for? Here’s a quick guide.

Who Should Pick the Peach & Berry Jelly Base

The crepe, jelly, and whipped cream are all built around berry notes, so this base is perfect if you love that classic sweet-and-tart berry flavor.

If you’re sharing with kids, I’d lean toward Peach & Berry over Mango & Blue — peach and berries are generally more familiar flavors for younger palates. Swap in the chocolate sauce, and it’ll be even easier for little ones to enjoy.

On the sweetness scale, everything except the soft-serve is actually pretty restrained — so this is also a great pick if you want something on the lighter, refreshing side.

Who Should Pick the Mango & Blue Jelly Base

This one I’d recommend for people who aren’t big on tart flavors, or who just genuinely love sweet desserts.

The reason: instead of relying on tartness, this parfait leans on the bright freshness of the blue jelly and the natural sweetness of the mango. Unlike the Peach & Berry version, you really notice the mango’s sweetness on top of the soft-serve — so for anyone with a sweet tooth, this is the one to go for.

Want even more sweetness? Go with the chocolate sauce. Want to lean fully into the tropical vibe? The tropical fruit sauce is the way.

Final Verdict

So that’s a wrap! Today I covered the Pal-Palooza Parfait, the special menu item from Disney Pal-Palooza’s “Vanellope’s Sweets Pop World” event at Tokyo Disneyland.

With 2 bases, 3 sauces, and 2 toppings to mix and match, you get to build a parfait that’s exactly your style — and the finished product looks downright adorable.

The base is what really shapes the overall flavor, and both options pair beautifully with the soft-serve. If you love berries and that sweet-tart vibe, go for the Peach & Berry Jelly base. If you’ve got a serious sweet tooth, the Mango & Blue Jelly base is the one for you.

The Pal-Palooza Parfait is available through June 30, 2026 — the same day the Disney Pal-Palooza event wraps up — so if it sounds up your alley, definitely give it a try while you’re at Tokyo Disney Resort in Japan!
